Barrington Stage Company

A professional, award-winning Equity regional theatre that was founded in 1995, the BSC has a three-fold mission: present topnotch compelling work, develop new plays and musicals, and find fresh, bold ways to bring new audiences into the theatre – especially young people. Berkshire Museum

A Smithsonian affiliate, The Berkshire Museum is open from 10am – 5pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday. The museum integrates art, history, and natural science in a wide range of programs and exhibitions that inspire educational connections…and are fun for all ages. Little Cinema is open year-round… Feigenbaum Hall of Innovation, Worlds in Miniature, Aquarium, and other exhibits are ongoing. Visit for more details.

The Colonial Theatre (Berkshire Theatre Group)

A 780-seat theater built in 1903 and reopened in 2006 following a $21 million restoration. It’s a year-round home for entertainment, comedy, live music and more. Inside the lobby, you’ll find The Garage, a dedicated space for local and regional music performers. Check out what’s on the schedule at

Lichtenstein Center for the Arts

The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts is a community arts center housed in a historic building in Pittsfield’s Upstreet Cultural District.  Inside, there’s an exhibiting art gallery and performance area, workshops, working artist studios, a ceramic studio and a darkroom. Located at 28 Renne Avenue off of Fenn Street, the gallery hours are Wednesdays through Saturdays, 11am to 4pm.
